ORI Family Winter Formal

The best company to work for, the best holiday party, hands down. We've got the prom-style Polaroid to prove it! This was the weekend for parties for us. Friday night was Meg's company holiday party with the whole family. The kids had a great time, Finn even marched in a jingle bell parade through the crowd! I knew all his practice at home would pay off!
Saturday night was Jason's Ugly Christmas Jumper (sweater) party. Thanks to Grandpa Charles and Nonie, we got a night on the town! I would say it was like old times, but it wasn't. It was better. Better in a savor-every-moment-for-they-are-seriously-fleeting kind of way. The bonus? Now we've got two really ugly holiday theme sweaters.

First Blog in the Family

It must be the bored housewife thing I have going on, that I feel compelled to start a blog RIGHT NOW. I thought this might be a cool way to post pictures of the kids without waiting a million years for them to load via email, and maybe keep people updated about our humble little house of chaos.
We'll try it and see. It might go the way of those organizational drawers that somehow are still sitting empty in the garage after two years. They just seemed like such a good idea at the time.
