It was snow fun

We got to enjoy our first snow day in three years. The snow was awesome--powdery and sticky, perfect for snowball fights, snowmen, and snow angels. Here's the family with our new friend Frosty, or as Brian calls him (big surprise), "Snowy."
There was a small scuffle over the carrot nose, and I think in the end it was consumed along with copious amounts of snow by a small woodland creature named Finn.

Bubblicious...

When asked if she wanted her new room blue or pink, Esme answered a definitive PINK. Here she is, enjoying a relaxing story in her reading nook, while carefree bubbles float around her. Not a day goes by she doesn't mention her Auntie Nut quite fondly, "Auntie Nut painted my room PINK!"

The decorating has moved forward a bit as well. The yellow lampshade is replaced, the comforter just awaits its duvet, and Granny is working on some curtains. Still have a bit to do and will post pictures when it's completed. So far, both kids love it. Finn wonders why he doesn't have bubbles though...
